Notes

  • There is a general consensus that the three Siberian Tatar dialects -- Tobol-Irtysh, Baraba, and Tomsk -- should be considered dialects of a single Siberian Tatar language.
  • There are five recognized dialects: Tyumen, Tobol, Zabolotnyi, Tevriz, and Tarsk.
  • Alishina uses commas as diacritics to indicate two sounds [q] - к, and [ɣ] - г,. For reasons of data processing, these have been rendered as қ and ӷ in the database.
